The year was 2019, and our founder Henk van Heerden was working in the field of Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) at a local Construction & Engineering company in a small town Secunda, Mpumalanga also known for the Sasol Synfuels 2 & 3 plants.

In the QA/QC field you always look to improve on the efficiency of time spent and the Quality of the product delivered. Keeping this in mind Henk soon realised that there is a big short-fall in the area when it comes to the Calibrations & Validations of equipment and instrumentation. At home he started looking for companies specializing in this need, and his speculation was indeed correct, majority of the companies are based in larger locations such as Johannesburg, Pretoria and even as far as Durban and Cape Town. Henk saw this as an opportunity and thus in November 2019 the company VanTech Calibrations & Consultancy (Pty) Ltd. Was registered and opened for business.

VanTech specializes in the calibration and validation needs of various equipment and precision instruments. VanTech confidently identifies itself on the foundation of integrity, precision, quality, thoroughness that the cost and speed at which a customer receives their product.
